Scriber

Doctors handle the critical thinking in the office and on the field. We want to help them do their job by taking care of the simple tasks. Scriber is the doctor's assistant, helping doctors convert verbal and written patient information into electronic health records (EHRs). When the doctor no longer has to think about notes, they can fully focus on you. This app was implemented in Flutter, a cross-platform SDK that develops simultaneously for Android, iOS, and web. It uses Google Firebase for camera text recognition and speech-to-text from PubDev. I personally integrated a text-to-speech pubdev package to the app and created the JSON store function so that speech could be saved locally on the device.

PowerManager

Construction site managers struggle with coordination of equipment. Popular construction company Catepillar sponsored the Association of Computing Machinery's Software Development Competition and tasked competitors to leverage software to help construction site managers. Our Bootstrap and React project allows contruction site managers to log in, add and manage equipment, and access information and diagnostics on equipment.

NoCorona

One in five people don’t wash their hands, and of those that do, only 30 percent use soap. Living in a pandemic we have a better understanding of the consequences in a lapse of proper hygiene. Our app aims to tackle this neglect in hygiene by reminding you when you get home, to work, or any other "abode" by using location APIs. NoCorona also tracks how many germs you are likely to have picked up while out and includes helpful info cards to help educate users!

Dory Defender

Dory Defender protects vulnerable technology users online and in their emails. This Chrome extension has user-customizable capabilities to warn against malicious websites and an email assistant that warns you when you are sending potentially sensitive information over email. The malicious website blocker shows a pop-up on malicious sites based on an extensive database of known malicious sites. The email assistant runs your email contents through a machine learning model hosted on GCP AI Platform as you type to issue warnings when sensitive password information exists.

Piecemeal

In any given year, over 10,000 people will experience homelessness in my community; they have no access to life's necessities and are challenged to survive. Piecemeal is an app designed to bridge the gaps between the food insecure and those who are able to give. Through Piecemeal, those in need will be able to access safe, convenient, and warm food while donors that participate will be able to give money knowing that their donations are used with accountability.
